The Student Support team here at Cooroy State School continually work in a collaborative manner to ensure that student needs are continually reviewing, addressed and met. This team works together with students, parents and staff for the health and well-being of students enabling, them to have healthy, happy and productive lives. To this end, Cooroy State School has established networks of support personnel who provide different levels of support the individual needs of students. Through regular meetings the student support team engage in collaborative problem solving and decision making processes to ensure that all students have access to an effective, appropriate and positive learning experience at school.

The Student Services Team supports students and staff in the numerous ways, including:
identification of individual student support needs (behaviour, teaching and learning, suspected disability, mental health and well being)
liaise with other support agencies and make referrals where applicable.
