Year 6
Throughout the whole school year, our Year 6 teachers and students work very hard to prepare themselves with the skills needed to function at high school. Throughout Semester 2, our students begin a transition program with our local feeder high school, Noosa District State High School (NDSHS). This program involves Cooroy State School students participating in:
Visits from various NDSHS staff and students
A half day transition to NDSHS
Follow up visits from NDSHS staff
Enrolment interviews with NDSHS staff (parents and students)
A whole day transition to NDSHS
