Music is offered to students from Prep to Grade 3 as part of the curriculum. The program incorporates singing, listening, moving, improvising and composing music in a fun atmosphere. A variety of instruments including tuned and untuned percussion, recorder, glockenspiel and keyboard are incorporated into the program.
From Grade 3 onwards, students are able to participate in our Instrumental Music Program which remains as part of their school curriculum.
Our Band Program offers a wide range of instruments including percussion, flute, clarinet, piccolo, saxophone and trumpet.
Students in our Strings Program can choose to learn violin, viola, double bass or cello.
For students with their own instruments, the program costs of $40.
For students who wish to borrow a school instrument for the year, the program costs $80.
