Cooroy is very fortunate to be able to boast a very sizable sports oval which includes cricket pitch and cricket practice nets. Annual Athletics Carnivals for both Junior & Senior classes and our ever-popular "Under 8’s Day" are held at our home venue as well as being a popular spot for lunchtime sport. Community groups often express interest in hosting events on the oval.
Our two tennis courts located on the southern end of the school grounds underwent a $70,000 total remake through a joint school funded initiative and a State Government funded grant. Old and tired courts were transformed into bright and modern multi-purpose courts, with tennis, volleyball, basketball and netball now able to be played on a synthetic turf surface. The courts now play a major role in our Health and Physical Education program and are a popular place for lunchtime activities.
