Cooroy State School curriculum, assessment and reporting framework provides a systemic and sequenced plan for instruction with clear expectations and monitoring of all students.  We also provide multiple opportunities for students to reach their potential in all academic and artistic virtues.
 

At Cooroy State School we are proud to advocate that our teachers are experts at catering for individual learning needs of all students.  We believe in the philosophy that every student can learn and we plan a differentiated curriculum so that all students’ diverse learning needs are met.

In our recent Teaching and Learning Audits, we are proud to have received outstanding results in the following areas

These outstanding results reflect the commitment that our teachers and teams have to providing a high level of quality instruction. All staff are provided with ongoing professional development with the most recent evidence based teaching strategies available.

As a result of everyone’s efforts at Cooroy State School, we are also very proud of our excellent NAPLAN results which either meet or exceed the national averages in Year 3 and 5 for spelling, reading, writing, grammar and punctuation and numeracy.

Our classrooms, purpose built science lab, resource centre, school hall and grounds are well maintained and provide inviting and supportive environments for learning to take place. Staff and students love it here and Cooroy State School is truly an excellent school.
