Refund policy

As per Education Department policy, Cooroy State School has established its refund policy which operates to refund monies paid where:
  • Money has been paid by a parent for the purposes of an excursion, incursion, student resource scheme, instrumental music levy, camps etc.  and where student has for any reason been unable to attend. Where possible, the request should include the receipt relating to the payment for which a refund is being sought.

  • Upon the request a refund form is filled out by the parent and lodged with the office. 

The parent has a choice as to accept the refund by:

  • Refunded to credit card by refund transaction (if a credit card is used in original transaction).
  • Paid by EFT to bank details stored in OneSchool. In the exceptional event that bank details are not recorded, a cheque will be issued to the parent.
  • Credit towards the next excursion/school activity that child attends. This is the preferred option.
  • Petty cash is used only in the event of a refund of less than $10.

It is not the responsibility of the school to ensure the refund is delivered safely home to parents.
