Enhanced Student Resource Scheme

In 2011, the P&C Association approved the introduction of the Enhanced Student Resource Scheme to Cooroy State School. Each year, parents are invited to participate in the Resource Scheme by completing a Participation Agreement Form which is sent out to all families. A copy is included in the school’s enrolment package. You can also access the ESRS participation agreement form through the 'Forms and documents' section on our website.

The purpose of the scheme is to enable the school to purchase enhanced learning resources for many curriculum areas, in particular science and the arts (visual arts, music, dance and instrumental music), and technology.   Annual participation in the Enhanced Student Resource Scheme is $95 per child, with a ceiling of $285 for parents with more than 3 children.

The scheme operates under the policy and guidelines of the Department of Education and Training FNM-PR-018 : Student Resource Scheme.  It is supported and approved annually  by the school’s P & C Association and is managed by the school and operates in accordance with Section 51 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006.

Although the Enhanced Student Resource Scheme is voluntary, parents who adopt the option not to participate will be responsible for providing their child with the same resources which are covered by the scheme.  This expectation simply enables all children attending Cooroy State School, to fully engage with the curriculum in all areas.
